Belt-in-Oil Enquiries
Some engines outside our specialism also use belt-in-oil timing belts. Where that is the case we point you to the workshop that covers them properly.
Ford's EcoBoost petrol engines also use a belt-in-oil timing belt, so the general wear mechanism will look familiar if you have read our wet belt failure page. Our own day-to-day work is PSA-group and cross-manufacturer: 1.2 PureTech wet belts across Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Vauxhall, conventional timing belt replacement, and timing chain replacement on BMW, Mercedes, Audi/VW, Jaguar Land Rover and Nissan engines.
